Sale Arts Trail’s highly successful Christmas Bazaar is returning for it’s fourth year to the
Claremont Centre in Sale.
”Over the weekend of the 9-10th December we will be bringing the best creative talent in the northwest to show their work to the public and offer you the opportunity to buy
unique personal handmade gifts for yourself and your loved ones this Christmas.,’ said Sophie Nixon, of the Sale Arts Trail.
‘There will be around 43 professional artists and makers selling a range of beautiful gifts including
glassware, jewellery, ceramics, Christmas wreaths, willow-weaving, fine art, photography, knitwear,
textiles, bespoke clothing and children’s gifts, there really is a gift for everyone for sale,” says Jo Lavelle from the Sale Arts Trail.
”Each year the arts trail tries to support a charity and this year we are delighted to be supporting The Trafford
Music Service will be running a café over the weekend raising funds to support music
bursaries for pupils who need financial support with their lessons and instruments as well as the
longer term fundraising towards repairing their beautiful building.
“As usual we will bring the festive feeling to the event with live carol singing, Christmas music,
mince pies and mulled wine. This is a very relaxed environment where you will have an opportunity
to chat to the makers about their work and buy from them directly.
This event is free entry and a great opportunity to support local charities as well as your local
professional makers. We look forward to seeing everyone there.
You can pick up the Trail postcards from the Waterside Arts Centre, libraries and most of the cafes
around Sale.
