Cannabis Farm discovered at house in Sale Moor – then it went up in flames

Police raided a house in Sale Moor and found a room filled with cannabis plants, heaters and lights.

The cannabis farm was found yesterday.

GMP Trafford South said on their Facebook page today: “More green fingered criminals were disrupted and a cannabis farm was found by officers. Back to the incinerator we go.”

In a separate case also in Sale Moor, a man was detained for alleged drugs offences

“Excellent work by B relief officers on Wednesday who pursued a male in a vehicle and then on foot in Sale Moor,” said the police.

WALTON PARK WIMPY MEMORIAL: A new war memorial has been unveiled in Walton Park, to commemorate the aircrew who crash-landed there on the third of August 1943, killing two Australian airmen.

The memorial reads:
