Police appeal for help in tracing bikes stolen in Sale burglary

Have you seen this bike?

One of the distinctive off-road bikes stolen

It was stolen along with another off-road bike during a recent house burglary in Sale

Now GMP are appealing for help and any information or sightings of the distinctive bikes. If you have any information please ring 0161 856 7655 or 101 quoting Crime Reference Number: 022805K/18

WALTON PARK WIMPY MEMORIAL: A new war memorial has been unveiled in Walton Park, to commemorate the aircrew who crash-landed there on the third of August 1943, killing two Australian airmen.

The memorial reads:
