Dan Snow is coming to Sale in June for a one-man show at the Waterside.
An Evening with the History Guy on June 21st, will feature the well-known historian, broadcaster and BBC TV presenter. Dan will be sharing some anecdotes of memorable experiences from his very successful career.
But the real highlight will be the inclusion of historical facts, legends and myths about Sale and the surrounding areas in his show.
And there will be a 20-minute question and answer session with Dan, who presents history programmes for the BBC and other broadcasters, and has a history slot on The One Show and hosts the podcast, Dan Snow’s History Hit.
Dan left Oxford and immediately started presenting military history programmes with his father, Peter Snow.
Their series, Battlefield Britain, won a BAFTA award. He went on to make programmes around the world on a range of historical topics. He has presented shows such as Armada, Grand Canyon and Vikings. He is also part of the BBC Events team presenting anniversary programmes commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain and the landings at Gallipoli in 2015.
