Walking Rugby is proving a real success in Sale.
The sessions are held at MV Trafford’s ground in Finny Bank Road in Sale every Wednesday night at 6.30 pm.
“Led by Sale Sharks Community Development team it has all the components of the modern game – except no full contact – the sessions are suited to over 50’s ideally and is open to men and women who play in a mixed side,” says Walking Rugby organiser, Wilf Dooley.
‘We are giving an opportunity for older players and total novices to enjoy our sport at a slower pace.
“Numbers are picking up nicely with new players arriving frequently but new players are always welcome to rekindle their love for the game.”
”We are also adding a Touch Rugby session on Thursday evenings to our schedule for those wanting a slightly faster pace of game.
