Car stolen in overnight burglary at Sale home

Police are appealing for help in tracing a white Range Rover Vogue stolen from a home in Britannia Road in Sale.

A GMP spokesman said:’During the burglary the homeowner’s vehicle has been stolen, if you see the vehicle please ring 101.

WALTON PARK WIMPY MEMORIAL: A new war memorial has been unveiled in Walton Park, to commemorate the aircrew who crash-landed there on the third of August 1943, killing two Australian airmen.

The memorial reads:
