- The Christmas Concert takes place this Saturday at The Avenue Methodist Church in Wincham Road, Sale.
- The fun starts at 7 pm. Some tickets are still available.
- The band can trace its roots way back to 1849 and started out as The Stretford Temperance band – but became the Sale Brass Band in 1971 when the band was forced to change rehearsal rooms and leave Stretford – since then the band has gone on to form a vital part of the Sale community.
