There is Met Office warning for snow and ice to hit the North West tomorrow.
Overnight temperatures are set to plummet tonight in Sale and the surrounding area with wintry showers and snow as well as thunder expected.
The Met Office has issued a yellow alert for ice, warning some roads and railways will be affected with longer journey times.
A spokesman said: “There will be an icy start on Tuesday, with temperatures below freezing point. We are expecting snow showers in the Trafford area with snow accumulating on hills and it will be cold and brighter later in the day.”
He warned the icy spell will last for the next week.
