If you are a beginner, can do the old soft shoe, or someone who can trip the light fantastic – We Live To Dance offers ballroom. sequence, Latin American, Line Dance and Jive across the dancefloor of St Anne’s Church Hall in Trinity Road in Sale between 1-4 pm

WALTON PARK WIMPY MEMORIAL: A new war memorial has been unveiled in Walton Park, to commemorate the aircrew who crash-landed there on the third of August 1943, killing two Australian airmen.

The memorial reads:

In honour of the allied airmen whose aircraft crashed on this site 3rd August 1943
