[dropcap type “circles”]Hundreds of people are expected to attend Sale Civic Remembrance Sunday service this Sunday at the War Memorial at School Road.
The surrounding roads will be closed to allow the service to be held at 10.55 am
The events will give people in Sale the chance to remember those service men and women who have given their lives in both world wars and in more recent conflicts.
The Mayor of Trafford, Councillor Rob Chilton, will attend the Civic Remembrance Services in Sale and Hale. The Mayor said: “We all owe a great debt to those heroes who gave their lives so that we can live in freedom. Remembrance Sunday is the day when we come together to reflect on their great sacrifice and I am honoured to be attending.”
