A n air ambulance rushed to Sale after a teenage boy was struck by a car this lunchtime.
The collision happened on Brooklands Road just after mid-day today (Thursday, May 21).
A spokesman for the North West Ambulance Service said a boy in his mid-teens suffered a back injury. Paramedics treated him at the scene.
A spokesman said: “We were called at 12.01 pm to reports of a road traffic involving a pedestrian and a car. We are still at the scene at the moment.
“An air ambulance was there but has left now.”
