Dean Friedman, an artist considered one of the finest songwriters of his generation, is back touring live – and he’ll perform at Sale’s Waterside on Friday 22nd April.

After a two-year, forced hiatus, Friedman has launched a UK and Ireland 40-city concert tour to coincide with the release of his ninth studio album, American Lullaby.

Friedman, best known to UK and Ireland audiences for his string of chart hits, ‘Ariel’, ‘Lucky Stars’, ‘Lydia’ and ‘Woman of Mine’ spent lockdown immersed in his home studio working on the new album, American Lullaby

Speaking about the album, Friedman said, “‘American Lullaby’ reflects my personal take on all the crazy stuff that’s been happening in America – and around the world – for the last six years. Like all lullabies, it’s filled with tales of dark deeds and disaster, but couched in soft, gentle tones, meant to soothe and comfort the listener, while gently bracing them for the potential terrors that await.”
