An afternoon of family fun with live music, activities for the kids and more.
Sale’s Ashton Park will host a ‘Picnic in the Park’ event this Sunday, 26th June, from 1pm-4pm.
The event is set to be a big one, as it’s the first picnic in the park since before the pandemic began.
Organised by the Friends of Ashton Park, the event will give the local community the opportunity to come together for a celebration packed with family-friendly activities, food and drink and live music.
While ‘picnic’ might be in the title of the event, they aren’t compulsory – food and drink will be available to purchase on the day, including hotdogs, cakes and coffee from Extreme Coffee and Asian buns and bar from Sup Sup Sui.
Music from the Wellfield Choir, The Hootin Annie’s Big Band and DJ Stupot will help to keep visitors entertained throughout the afternoon.
Other activities include Trafford and District Woodcraft Club showcasing their woodwork skills and an inflatable football dartboard from The Football Fun Factory.
