A large multi-functional, community-focused hire space has opened in Stanley Square, after the pandemic initially halted its progress.
‘Hiya!’ is available for Sale residents and businesses in the wider local area to hire (see what they did there?!) for events, classes, courses, launches, rehearsals – basically, pretty much anything you might wish to hire a space for!
The venue is adaptable and includes collapsible furniture, changing room areas, a kitchen and toilet facilities to ensure the space is fully inclusive and can accommodate many different needs.
The space is available for both hourly and day rates, to ensure that businesses of all sizes can benefit from using the space.
Tony Martin, Stanley Square’s general manager said: “We wanted to introduce a space that could be used by the community for a variety of things ranging from group meetings to wellness and yoga sessions, Hiya! will offer just that.
“The space is currently being used by NCS, a youth programme that runs every summer for 16-17-year-olds, the NCS experience is all about emboldening young people, giving them an experience of being an adult without the responsibilities that come with it, the groups also work together on community initiatives. The space was also recently used by Manchester School of Art, where several students exhibited their work and we also have our regular pop-up Community Bike Kitchen regularly making use of the space.
“It’s great to see Hiya! already in use and I look forward to receiving enquiries and getting more events booked in.”
Hiya!’s brand new website is set to launch soon, but if you just can’t wait for more information, or would like to view or book the space, simply pop in to see Tony at the Stanley Square management office, or email tony@stanleysquare.com.
