Starbucks has opened a new café inside Sainsbury’s Sale, following a partnership deal that was announced earlier this year.
We went along on opening day to take a first look at the newest café in Sale.
The new Starbucks has created 15 new jobs, with many of the new team living in Sale and the surrounding areas.
When asked about local reaction to the new opening of a major coffee shop brand, the team are well aware of Starbucks’ public reputation. However, they are keen for local residents and shoppers to consider Starbucks Sale as part of the community.
The team at Starbucks Sale is keen to integrate with local businesses keen to use the cafe space for meetings, coffee tasting events and there are even opportunities for local book clubs and charities to host. If you are interested in using the space, simply pop into the cafe and ask to speak to Kerry Daley, the new store manager.
The new Starbucks café replaces the previous Sainsbury’s café inside the supermarket and is one of 30 new Starbucks cafés set to open within Sainsbury’s stores across the UK in the next twelve months.
