The GOOD Market is coming to Sale’s Stanley Square later this month for the first in a series of markets featuring local independent businesses.
The market is an idea from Good Liverpool, a platform created for small independent businesses to help them during the pandemic.
Stanley Square will host events which will celebrate some of the region’s best independents. Customers can browse and shop for products from talented artisans and crafters from across Manchester.
GOOD Market has four confirmed dates booked in at the newly renovated Stanley Square:
- Friday 16th September, 3pm-8pm
- Saturday 8th October, 11am-4pm
- Saturday 12th November, 11am-4pm
- Saturday 10th December, 11am-4pm
Good Market is about creating community events, a nod to the past era of markets, but bringing them into the modern age. The markets will have a curated selection of the very best stockists to browse and buy from, with no panic shopping in sight.
Tony Martin, Stanley Square’s general manager said: “We are really excited to be working with Good Market who are very much aligned with our brand ethos and what we are aiming to achieve at Stanley Square – we are very much community focused and want local people to experience a bit of what you would get in the city centre in their home town.”
It all kicks off with a twilight market on Friday 16th September from 3pm. So get ready to dig out those jumpers, pick up a pumpkin-spiced latte and welcome in autumn the GOOD way.
