A man has been found dead in Sale.
Anthony Mackay was discovered at his home on Brooklands Road on Wednesday 26th September.
There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the 78-year-old’s death.
Police launched a public appeal today in a bid to trace his family. Anyone who knows John’s relatives is urged to come forward.
Greater Manchester Police released an appeal on social media.
It read:
“We are appealing for the public’s help to trace family of a man from Sale.
“Anthony Mackay, aged 78, sadly died at home, at Brooklands Road, Sale last Wednesday (26/09/2022).
“There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
“Anyone with information about Anthony Mackay’s next of kin should contact the Police Coroner’s Office in Stockport on 0161 8569290.”
