Wizard of Oz fans are in for a theatrical treat – a magical retelling of the classic story in the form of a new contemporary dance stage show is heading to Sale.
The classic story is told as seen through the rusty eyes of the Tin Man on their journey to finding their heart and happiness.
This captivating new dance production, for families with children aged seven-plus, explores how this much-loved character would have coped against the Wicked Witch – the keeper of the oil – and discovers the friends he might have met along the way.
Brilliantly humorous and touching, Tin Man will enthral children and adults alike with its charming storytelling, bold dancing and music by award-winning composer Anna Appleby.
Tin Man is a great opportunity for parents and carers to introduce children to the world of contemporary dance.
The show comes to Sale on Friday 14th October at 7pm. The show’s running time is 50 minutes, with no interval.
