A 43-year motorcyclist has been killed in a crash in Sale yesterday evening (Friday 28th October).
The accident happened on Wythenshawe Road in Sale and involved a silver Mercedes C250 and a green Kawasaki motorbike.
The male rider of the motorbike was taken to hospital but sadly died a short time after.
His family have been made aware and specially trained officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit will be supporting them.
The driver of the Mercedes remained at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries.
GMP are appealing for anyone with information about the incident to contact them as they continue to investigate what happened.
