An 82-year-old woman has died in hospital two days after a car crash in Sale.
Police say they were called to a report of a road traffic collision involving one vehicle on Brooklands Station Approach in Sale around 4.15pm on Friday afternoon (8th July).
The victim was taken to hospital but sadly died over the weekend.
Detective Sergeant Marie Eldred, from GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “This was a tragic incident that has left a family understandably devastated, our officers are continuing with enquiries.
“At this time, we don’t believe anyone else was involved. However, anyone with information or anyone with dashcam footage is asked to report it.”
