Police want to trace three men involved in Sale burglary

The hunt is on for three men involved in a burglary in Sale.

A spokesman for GMPO said:”Thieves damaged a rear door to gain access to a house on Central Avenue in Sale, the occupiers returned back to the house and witnessed three men leaving their property, the offenders made off towards Avonlea Road. Let us know on 101 if you spotted them at around 6pm yesterday.”

WALTON PARK WIMPY MEMORIAL: A new war memorial has been unveiled in Walton Park, to commemorate the aircrew who crash-landed there on the third of August 1943, killing two Australian airmen.

The memorial reads:
