Do you know this man? Police are looking for him after a Sale woman was blackmailed after she sent him intimate videos and images.
The victim, who is in her fifties, struck up a friendship with the man online. After meeting the man he asked the woman to send sent him intimate images and videos.
Around October 1st 2016, the man asked if she could look after a parcel for him while he went away. The woman agreed, but a second man contacted her to say she must pay thousands of pounds for the package.
The woman then questioned the original man and explained that she could not afford it. The man said he would releases the videos if she did not pay.
Officers now want help in identifying the man, and have made extensive enquiries and are now asking anyone who recognises the man pictured to please contact Police at the number below.
Detective Sergeant Lee Attenborugh, from GMP said:’The victim put her trust in the offender and truly believed the were friends. She is understandably devastated by all of this and was very brave reporting this to police”
He made this appeal:”Anyone who has any information about the man in the picture is urged to call us
“If you have any information about the blackmail or have been the victim yourself, then you should immediately call the police.”
