The half term spate of burglaries continued in Sale overnight. According to police a vehicle was stolen at round 5.15 am this morning during a burglary on Brooklands Road in Sale.“
The car was a Black Mercedes registration number. LM15 HHV
Police say the offenders used a rock from the garden to smash a front window next to front door. They then got the keys by reaching through the window. They then smashed a side window of one vehicle to gain access and pushed it out of the way to access the Mercedes . Finally they drove off in the direction of Brooklands roundabout or Wythenshawe Road.
Anyone with information should call the Police on 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.
* Meanwhile the police have issued an update on the man who was arrested at the weekend on School Road, Sale for persistent begging. There had been some criticism of the police on their Facebook page about the arrest.
Howver they say he has now been referred to appropriate agencies for support and has been found somewhere to live. The say he has thanked the officers who dealt with him and is now receiving assistance to keep him safe and well.
