Two cars stolen from Sale home in overnight burglary

Two cars have been stolen overnight in a burglary in Pine Grove in Sale

A GMP spokesman said:”The offenders gained entry by forcing a rear ground floor window to the home.”

Police are appealing for the public’s help in tracing the cars. “The cars registration numbers are Ford Focus, White – SL13 RAT
and Fiat Diablo, White – LR61 TGO

WALTON PARK WIMPY MEMORIAL: A new war memorial has been unveiled in Walton Park, to commemorate the aircrew who crash-landed there on the third of August 1943, killing two Australian airmen.

The memorial reads:

In honour of the allied airmen whose aircraft crashed on this site 3rd August 1943
