Fiver Fest returns to Sale tomorrow, Saturday 2nd July. What’s it all about?

20 of Sale’s local, independent businesses have joined together to bring you – their loyal customers – some special offers for just £5. These businesses contribute hugely to the local economy and thanks to Totally Locally’s Fiver Fest you can show your support for them – and grab a bargain at the same time. Bonus!

This summer’s Fiver Fest runs from 2nd-16th July and we have the definitive list of all the local Sale businesses taking part.

WALTON PARK WIMPY MEMORIAL: A new war memorial has been unveiled in Walton Park, to commemorate the aircrew who crash-landed there on the third of August 1943, killing two Australian airmen.

The memorial reads:
