It’s the collaboration we didn’t know we needed…

Local charity Everyone Can and independent bookshop B for Butterfly Books are joining together to host a community charity event on 10th September.

The pop-up event will take place at Stanley Square’s new community space, HIYA, from 1-4pm.

The event will include a book signing from local author M.J.Sullivan, who will be signing copies of his debut novel ‘Game Over: Rise of the Raid Mob’, which is written for young adults and is based around four friends being the best gamers in the entire world.

Everyone Can, based above New Look on the cusp of Stanley Square in Sale, help people with disabilities by using the power of assistive technology. They offer free assessments to individuals to unlock how assistive technology can help and hold free weekly gaming sessions for both children and adults with disabilities at their technology and gaming centre, using the most up-to-date equipment and alternative control methods for anyone who needs them.

At 2pm on 10th September, author M.J.Sullivan will take part in a Q&A with the audience and throughout the day, Everyone Can will showcase some of their assistive technology – a great opportunity for the local community to better understand the services they offer disabled people.

Author M.J. Sullivan will be at the community charity event to discuss his debut book

The event is free and everyone is welcome to attend, so simply pop into HIYA on the day to show your support.

📣 Calling all Sale businesses: Can you help?

Everyone Can and B for Butterfly Books will also be hosting a raffle on the day, with attendees given the chance to win prizes donated by local businesses. All proceeds from the raffle will go to Everyone Can.

As a Sale business owner, are you able to get involved and give a prize? We know you love to support your community, so if you’re able to help, please email contact@everyonecan.org.uk. Your donations will be greatly appreciated!
