Everyone Can, the Sale-based UK charity that helps disabled people by using technology, is calling on local businesses and organisations to sponsor their upcoming themed gaming sessions.
Sponsorship will allow the charity to ensure that the children and their families who use the service are given an opportunity to enjoy longer gaming sessions at a special Christmas-themed event. It will allow the team at the small charity to decorate the Everyone Can centre, on School Road in Sale, present children with gifts, provide refreshments and host activities alongside some gaming.
Laura English, community engagement and fundraising officer at Everyone Can, has urged local businesses to consider sponsoring an event,
“We’re looking for support to help towards the cost of these events to ensure we can make them a huge success for the people we support. I would love to discuss sponsorship opportunities with local businesses, so if this sounds like something you can help us with, please get in touch!”
Everyone Can exists to help make gaming more accessible for disabled people. It offers free sessions to children and young people who are often left feeling unable to play games in everyday life, leaving them to become isolated. The team at Everyone Can ensure that games are available for those with different disabilities.
The charity’s assistive technology and gaming centre contains equipment including huge screens, VR stations and driving rigs – and it also has a relaxing area available for parents and carers to chat over a hot drink while children are playing.
To date, Everyone Can has been able to transform the lives of hundreds of disabled people by matching them with the best-suited and most innovative assistive technology.
Can YOU help them ensure the success of their future activities by sponsoring an upcoming event? If so, please contact Laura at laura.english@everyonecan.org.uk.
