NEW OPENING: Silver Bullet Coffee has launched today on John Leigh Park, run by Jonny Hewitt, formerly of Red House Farm.
The opportunity for a mobile food operator came about after the sad death earlier this year of Jon Dodson, the park’s much-loved former ice cream man.
Jonny has now won permission from Trafford Council to set up his own business on the patch, and he’ll be there on weekends and holidays from now on.
Initially it’ll be serving hot and cold drinks - including Dunham Massey Apple Juice, Booch & Brew Kombucha (also from Dunham Massey), Farrer’s tea and coffee (from the Lake District) - and cakes from K Bakes in Hale.
And there are plans to sell ice cream “very soon”...
